This is Korea!

What a gorgeous wee girl! Children are so loved here and this little one is learning a very important custom and as little ones practice, she is applying it to all areas of life. To see a mechanical doll bowing is not a very common occurrence but some shops see this as a great strategy to grab attention to the potential customer.

* Sidenote: Korean’s are very respectful to their elders, if you are younger you bow to the older generation out of respect. I find this to be a very honoring and sincere custom, that is important to do. I will often bow when I travel to other countries and home without even thinking, it is something you do every day here! I think it is the hardest to break if you are in a different environment.
